The eBooks on Demand (EOD) Library Network Expands to the North

The Library of UiT The Arctic University of Norway is the first institution in Norway to offer the EOD digitisation service.

Nine EOD libraries digitise on request the works released from copyright restrictions in the last 10 years for a special price: 10 euros* per book until the end of January 2018.

From 15-28 May, 2017 11 libraries from 7 European countries run a spring campaign to offer digitisation of public domain books for a special price to returning customers. The collections on offer sum up to 1.4 million books.

4-5 May, 2017 the eBooks on Demand (EOD) Library Network holds its annual meeting at the University Library of Bratislava in Slovakia. Long-term preservation is in the spotlight, future developments will also be discussed.
Toulouse and Midi-Pyrénées Universities Libraries Network is opening up the public domain collections of fifty libraries for digitisation-on-demand via EOD service.

From 5-18 December, 2016 12 eBooks on Demand (EOD) Network libraries offer EOD e-books for half the price. The collections of public domain books offered for digitization count up to 1,8 million items.
