The European-wide network of libraries offering digitisation of copyright free books on users' demand has expanded in Austria, France and Germany. Now the eBooks on Demand (EOD) service is available via 32 libraries.

Twitteri voog toob ära autori, pealkirja ja ilmumisaasta ning pakub otselingi raamatu täistekstile EOD teenust pakkuvate raamatukogude digitaalkogudes.

 

The books digitised via EOD (eBooks on Demand) are now published in Twitter at https://twitter.com/eod_ebooks. The feed provides information about the author, title, publication year and a direct link to the full text of the book in the repositories of the EOD partner libraries.

On 10-11 May 2012 the conference “Semantic technologies in libraries: from text to structure – from words to meaning” will be hosted by the Research Library in Olomouc, Czech Republic. The second EOD HackDays and an open post-conference meeting of the eBooks on Demand (EOD) network will also be held.

EOD service took a step closer to Facebook users at https://www.facebook.com/eod.ebooks.
