EOD eBooks

Your requested eBook is thoroughly scanned and digitised from cover to cover. You will then receive your digital book in a single PDF file.

Use your standard software (Adobe Acrobat Reader), to read the eBook on-screen, zoom in to the image or navigate through the book.
Print single pages or the entire book.
Use the full text search of individual terms.
Copy the images and parts of the text to other applications (e.g. word processors).
In addition, if feasible, you may get the automatically recognised text in a separate text file which you will be able to edit in any standard word processor.

Price: 10 EUR plus 0.16 EUR / page
Special price for affiliates of the University Library of Regensburg: 10 EUR plus 0.8 EUR / page

Additional delivery as high-resolution images (TIFF)

You can use TIFF files as a print layout or, thanks to their high resolution (generally 300 dpi), zoom in on and recognize details.

Additional information regarding your order

We wish to point out that automatic text recognition (OCR) does not fully provide perfect results and inaccuracies can occur especially with older books.

Payment options

Benefit from the various options of online payment:

Direct payment by all leading credit cards providers (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, American Express), Maestro and Paypal.
You can alternatively pay by invoice (customers from Germany only).
Customers of the University of Regensburg may also pay cash at the Multimediazentrum in the central library building.

Shipment schedule:	We endeavour to digitise and ship the book within one week. This, however, requires the physical presence of the book in the library. For longer shipment schedules we will inform you immediately.
Shipment options:	By standard our eBook will be available to you to download via the Internet immediately after payment. This link exists for two months. Thus you can immediately work with your eBook.

You can also choose shipment on a data carrier (CD-ROM or DVD, depending on the size of the file), subject to a surcharge:

Sale or return

Unfortunately, returning eBooks is not possible, as the products are not suitable for this due to their nature.

In addition to the digital form, the requested book will be reprinted in classic paperback and shipped right to you.
Therefore, the scanned images will be additionally processed and printed by a "print on demand" service provider.

Price: The price consists of a reprint price and a reprint delivery price.
