The University and Regional Library of Tyrol is the largest library in western Austria and serves more than 40,000 registered users.
Special attention has always been paid to the latest technological services. The library therefore was at the forefront in implementing an electronic library system in Austria and setting up a department for Digitisation and Digital preservation in 2002.
Today the library employs more than 130 people and is involved in a number of national and international consortia and projects.

Digitised Card Catalogue The catalogue comprises all books and journals from 1500 to 1988. Around 1.2 million cards can be searched alphabetically as well as by an automatically produced full text. All books can be ordered directly from the catalogue. |
OPAC University of Innsbruck Library This catalogue contains all items from 1989 onwards and also around 400,000 items from 1500 to 1988. All the items available for the EoD service are marked with the EoD button and can be ordered directly from the catalogue. |
