EOD eBooks
Your requested eBook is thoroughly scanned and digitized from cover to cover. You will then receive your digital book in a single PDF file. You can then:
- use the full text search of individual terms.
- copy and paste the images and parts of the text to other applications (e.g. word processors).
- paste and save the entire text of the document and further work with this text file as well as print single pages or the entire book.
In addition, if feasible, you may get the automatically recognized text in a separate text file which you will be able to edit in any standard word processor. Use your standard software (Adobe Acrobat Reader), to read the eBook on-screen, zoom in to the image or navigate through the book.
Price: CZK 200.- plus CZK 4.- per page
Additional information regarding your order
- EOD includes digitization of medieval manuscripts and old and rare books published before 1800. For such documents, the price may be negotiated individually depending on the physical condition and value of the document. We will notify you and supply tentative estimated price.
- We wish to point out that automatic text recognition (OCR) does not fully provide perfect results and inaccuracies can occur especially with older books.
- By ordering you express your consent with the EOD Terms and Conditions.
- Public domain books (70 years after the death of an author) are imported by us into the NTL's digital library and are thus globally available and also long-term preserved.
EOD Payment options
Benefit from the various options of online payment:
- Direct payment by all leading credit cards providers (Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club), Maestro or Paypal.
- You can alternatively pay by invoice (you get detailed information after you place the order in your personal EOD tracking page) or in cash at the NTL´s register.

| Shipment options: | As standard, our eBook will be available to you to download via the Internet link immediately after payment receipt. This link is active for 60 days. Thus you can immediately work with your eBook. |
You can also choose shipment on a data carrier (CD-ROM or DVD, depending on the size of the file), subject to a surcharge:

- Worldwide: CZK 200,-
Personal collection of CD-ROM/DVD with an e-book in the National technical library in Prague costs 30,- CZK.
EOD Return of an eBook
Unfortunately, returning eBooks is not possible, due to the nature of the electronic document.
